Think Regeneration, in partnership with the Organic Crop Improvement Association (OCIA) and the USDA's Transition to Organic Partnership Program (TOPP), today released its 2025 producer insights report: “Organic Agriculture: Exploring Barriers and Solutions.” The research offers a first-of-its-kind look beyond conventional narratives around cost and paperwork to explore the deeper motivations, needs, and challenges facing producers across the Great Plains and nationwide.
Drawing from interviews and surveys with more than 170 farmers, ranchers, and agriculture professionals, the report identifies a complex yet hopeful landscape where markets, values, and outcomes all intersect to shape organic and regenerative agriculture today
This interactive map allows you to explore USDA-NCSS soil survey data for locations throughout most of the U.S.
View regional trends for a variety of soil properties, including cation exchange capacity.
The tool is designed to help with spring planting, tracking damage after natural disasters, monitoring crop health, and more.
