Think Regeneration Entrepreneur Ecology programs address critical gaps in our food and farming supply chains. By investing in storage, transparency, aggregation, marketing, selling, and transportation, we are connecting regenerative producers with what they need to thrive.
Let's face it. Without farmers and ranchers, there is no regenerative movement. That's why we are committing thousands of dollars to invest in supply chains that open up new markets for farmers. Whether that means driving trucks across a state, allocating millions with investors, or bringing health care markets to the table, we are actively exploring all facets of farming and food.
We are investing in a new prescription food pilot programs in Illinois launching in 2025 that are connecting farmers and ranchers to patients suffering from chronic diseases.
We are investing in a network of 120 family farms in the Midwest to help them reach markets like Nashville, Tennessee, and Western Kentucky.
Want to make major, systemic changes in our food supply? Stay tuned ... We will update you after the program launches in April 2025.
On the return profile, our natural systems have to be the first to benefit. We believe this allows regenerative systems to move forward toward outcomes like human health, community resilience, and profitability.
When local economies are strong, the ripple effects are nearly endless. We believe by re-establishing local food supply chains and focusing on human health and ecosystem health outcomes, we are providing rural economies opportunities to thrive.
We believe that finanical sustainability is one of the pillars of strength for a strong investment in regenerative agriculture. We believe all food supply endeavors should be financially viable while creating positive social outcomes.
We have connected Illinois underserved farmers with more than $150,000 in infrastructure funding to date, which has supported more than 500,000 pounds of food delivery and $1.5 million in economic impact for their communities.
We are partnering with Down at the Farms LLC, FreshRx Oklahoma, Run-A-Way Buckers, and health care organizations to create pilots that help patients in Illinois who want to manage Type 2 diabetes connect with food procurement, nutrition education, and cooking classes.
More than 14 new local food distribution points have been established in the region between Nashville, Tennessee, and Chicago, Illinois, through CSAs, new distribution routes, and community partners. New routes will come online in 2025.
We are supporting our partners by managing a $1.4 million Illinois-EATS local food program. We will reach up to 250 families per week with high-quality groceries—the same as high-end chefs in Chicago—and connect more than 100 farmers with retail pricing.
