Our Regeneration Think Tank concept is ambitious but important: put the brightest, most successful and most innovative farmers and ranchers together and ask them to help rewrite the outdated recommendations from the Center for Economic Development, which directed the agriculture industry toward destructive, industrial practices. We need a new roadmap to reach a a regenerative food supply that will help direct policy, improve media coverage and encourage public interest. Interested in participating? Please out the contact form below.
In the 1960s, the Center for Economic Development released recommendations to remove family farmers in favor of large industry (pictured). Acknowledging these are wrong and misguided, Regeneration Think Tank will create new guidelines to influence policy, media coverage and public awareness.
Regenerative farmers and ranchers are some of the planet's best examples of positive change. The goal of creating this network of thought leaders will be to ensure regenerative farming systems, mindsets, and leaders can be spread abundantly around the world and accelerate the movement.
Our goals in 2023 are to recruit our first steering committee and Board of Directors, while establishing our 501c3 status and starting to fundraise. The funds will allow us to build strong incentives for regenerative farmers and ranchers to participate in our steering committee, while offsetting costs for attendance at the Leadership Academy. If you are interested in being involved, email ryan@think-regen.com
We will hold our first Leadership Academy for the regenerative movement. We will ensure active participation and networking, so the end result goes far beyond training, and becomes real empowerment. Each attendee will be given the tools to address the specific challenges preventing them from making the change they want to see happen.
On an annual basis starting in 2026, we will accelerate and expand our programs to ensure maximum participating and effectiveness.
Anyone who owns or operates a farm and has experience with any type of change management is encouraged to apply. We want your real-world experience.
Ranchers who are regenerating the land with livestock, or trying to, are being ignored. Sound like you? We want your real-world experience.
Are you a practicing agronomist or farm consultant who works with the industry first-hand? You have a credible role in building solutions that can be adapted at scale.
The realities of creating a startup are challenging, and can change instantly based on market conditions. Help us understand what questions to ask developing technologies.
We need massive but focused capital to help farmers and ranchers achieve change at the scale needed. We need your expertise to understand what is realistic, or not, to expect from the investment community.
Do you have experience making policy around climate change, agriculture and/or conservation? We could use your expertise to help understand how to reach and communicate to policymakers.
