Think Regeneration is based in Illinois, which is why we are committed to helping build a better food supply in our backyard with a network of key partners and scores of farmers who are working together to plan crops, reach new markets, fill infrastructure gaps, and protect our soil.
We have connected our network with more than $150,000 in infrastructure funding to date. This has helped them purchase trucks, refrigerated spaces, and more.
We are supporting our partners through the $29 million LFPP program. We will reach up to 200 families per week with groceries, and connect 100 farmers with new markets.
We are partnering with Down at the Farms LLC and Chicago Market to create educational materials that support regenerative food and growing practices.
More than 100 farmers who are involved with Down at the Farms LLC distribution will convene on the Spence Farm in Fairbury, Illinois, June 21-22, 2024, to learn from leading agronomists, collaborate on crop planning, and network with peers. This community of family farmers needs your support. They are bucking convention by growing food without the use of harmful pesticides, reaching underserved communities in the Illinois-EATS program, and leading economic redevelopment efforts in rural Illinois. Sponsor Down to Earth 2024 at a bronze ($500), silver ($1000) or gold level ($1500). We are trying to raise $10,000 to cover fees related to speakers, food, and program materials. Special guest: John Kempf.
We are building a coalition with growers and entrepreneurs to help launch Chicago Market, which will open in 2025, and connect underserved growers in the region with an exclusive market opportunity to fill a 15,000 sq ft co-op grocery store/nutrition center in the Uptown neighborhood.
Featuring Dan Arnett, GM of Chicago Market, and Marty Travis, co-founder of Down at the Farms LLC. Hosted by Ryan Slabaugh, founder of Think Regeneration
